SAMUEL R. GALBREATH
A virulent attack of quinsey of only a day's duration, caused the death of Samuel R. Galbreath, aged 56 years.
Mr. Galbreath was on our streets on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday morning he had a light sore throat. Towards
evening it grew worse and on Monday morning quinsy developed on both sides of his throat. Despite the efforts
of two physicians his death occured at about 6 o'clock. Mr. Galbreath was son of Robert Galbreath, deceased of
Rayne township. where Samuel spent his boyhood. For some years he had been selling lightning rods in this section
of the state. He is survived by tow sons: Lisle of Indiana, and Dwight, of Pittsburgh. Funeral services will be held
Friday afternoon and interment made in Oakland cemetery.
