Funeral services were held April 5 at the Memorial Funeral Home in Houston for Mrs. Annie Scarbrough Baine, who died April 3 at age 55 at the Houston Hospital.
Services were conducted by Rev. H L Hathorn and interment was in Chickasaw Memorial Garden.
Mrs. Baine was the daughter of A L Harmon and Lula Bell Shoemake and lived most of her life in this county. She was affiliated with the Methodist Church.
She is survived by her widower, Paul Baine of Houston; one son, John of Little Rock, Ark., two brothers, James Harmon of West Point and Hamp of Houston; five sisters, Mrs. Odell Newell of West Point, Nannie Houser and Gertrude Carlisle both of Woodland, Virgie Watson of West Point and Willie Thompson of Lake Charles, La.
Pallbearers were Ed Norman, Aubrey Freeman, Bobby Akin, David Criddle, John Grace and Addie Sykes.
