Anton Wagner, Sr., 65, died Sunday at his home in Sun Prairie. He worked at the Wisconsin Porcelain Co., Sun Prairie for more than 20 years. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Walter Buff and Mrs. Lloyd Wendt, both of Sun Prairie and Mrs. Emil Peterson and Mrs. Rodney Anderson, both of Madison; four sons, Anton Jr. of Sun Prairie, Pvt. John in the South Pacific, Staff Sgt. Joseph and Pvt. Bernard in Kentucky; eight grandchildren; and two brothers and two sisters in Germany. A son, Erich was killed in action in France. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Sacred Hearts Catholic Church, the Rev. G. A. Haeusler officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
