Morris Duane Todd, 62, Bruner, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004. He was born May 5, 1942 in Burner, the son of Tessie Hugh Winford Todd and Jewell D. (McHaffie) Todd.

He graduated from Sparta High School and served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

Morris was a cabinetmaker and owned Todd Woodworks for 14 years. He pastored McHaffie Church for the past four years.

He and his wife Judith were married on Feb. 13, 1976.

Survivors include; His wife, Judith; eight children, Michael Todd, Teresa Bolton and her husband Christian, and Paula Todd, all of Gulf Port, Miss., Eric Todd and his wife Ashley, Bruner, David Darby, Bruner, Candace Inman and her husband Joe, Sparta, Connie Horton and her husband Stewart, Springfield, and Kristen Inman and her husband, John, Galena; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson; a brother, Perry Todd and his wife Sharon, Idaho Falls, Idaho; a sister, Ella Bea Cameron and her husband Kenneth, Fair Grove; a sister-in-law, Beatrice VanVickle; his mother-in-law, Roxie Swearengin, Mansfield; nieces and nephews.

His parents, two brothers, Beyrl and Douglas Todd, and a grandson, Denver, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 11, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with the Rev. Benny DeWitt officiating. Burial followed in Bruner Cemetery with military honors.
