Mrs. Harriet Ann Hudgins, passed away quietly at her home on Gwynn's Island Tuesday, at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 4 days. She was a lifelong resident of the Island, and a member of the Gwynn Baptist Church, and was beloved by all who knew her.
She leaves surviving her one son, Freddie E. Hudgins, one daughter, Mrs. Harvey Respess, all of Gwynn's Island, and four sisters, Mrs. George Wise, of Baltimore; Mrs. Edna Haynie and Mrs. Mary Edwards, of Fleeton, Va., and one grandson, Ashley T. Respess, of Lynchburg, Va., and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Gwynn Baptist Church Friday at 2 p.m. The active pallbearers are John Hudgins, Robert Carney, S. C. Brownley, Charlie Hudgins, Will Hudgins and John Carney.
