Mrs. Charles Cozad died at her home at Lawton, Oklahoma, Tuesday morning. The remains will be shipped here and buried at Grant. No other particulars have been learned by the relatives here as yet. Deceased was a daughter of George Datson of Grant.

Mrs. Chas Cozad's funeral occurred at the M. E. Church at 3 o'clock p.m Sunday. Rev. Bates preached from the text, John 11:23 "I am the Resurrection" which was very appropriate for the occasion. The house was beautifully decorate. The many friends that were present showed the high esteem and regard in which she had held in this community.The entire neighborhood sympathize with the bereaved family. The pall bearers were members of the M W A and she was laid to rest in the Milford Cemetery.

Minnie E. Datson, daughter of George Snyder Dotson and Joanna Seveilla Anna Shepard, was born March 30, 1874 in Montgomery County, and died November 5, 1901 in Montgomery County, Iowa. She married Charles Walter Cozad on April 5, 1893, and to this union four children were born, of whom, Mrs. H. L. Mercer of Pueblo, Colorado, survives. Lela Anna and Walter Bruce died in infancy.
