Married Irvin Ray Jones on December 11, 1929 in Akron, Ohio. Grandma met my grandpa on a blind date. He was a fellow that moved from Arkansas and I guess grandma liked what she saw.

Three children were born of their union: 2 sons and 1 daughter.

Grandma was an excellent cook. She made the absolute best cookies you could imagine. She was also known for her homemade noodles. No one ever left grandma's table without being stuffed to the gills.
