The funeral of Mrs. R. W. Corbin was held Friday afternoon at the church, with Rev Frank Moore in charge. Mrs. Forrest Parker and Mrs. Albert Bender sang, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Earl Spiker. The pall bearers were Verle Hall, Cecil Hall, Paul Carlson, Darl Fiatt, Basil Fiatt, and Lester nelson. Those who attended the funeral from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. E. A. White, Villisca; Mr. and MRs. Clifford White, Nodaway; Mrs. George V. Patterson, Mr. and MRs. Laff Patters and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Nelson, Red Oak; O. S. white, Mrs. Edith Corbin, Mrs. Chester Kingery, and Mrs. Emma Gamle, Corning; Mrs. Will Gamle, Sennett, Mr. and Mrs. Will Roberts and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Slafield, Griswold, Mrs. Will Nelson, Elliott, and Mrs. Sarepta Wright of Emporia, Kansas.

White, born in Indiana, and Pixley, born in Illinois, died March 9, 1937 in Grant, Montgomey County, Iowa of acute myocorditis, Ed Montgomery, M.D., burial March 12, 1937 in Grant, Milford Cemetery, M.E. Gourley, undertaker, Villisca, Albert Corbin, Grant, Informant. She married Richard Warren Corbin. Children: Charity, Hattie, Charles, Pearl Harry Glade, Clara, Alice, and Richard.
