"Dora" was the daughter of Henry J Hoyt and Elizabeth (Mary) Graves. She was born Oct. 12 1848 in Fond du Lac Wisconsin where her grandparents had settled early in the history of Wisconsin.

She married Melvin Colby in 1869 and died 8 Oct 1931 in Wisconsin.

They had three children:
