Austin H. Case

JEFFERSON - Austin H. Case, 63, of 50 Baltimore St., who retired in 1985 as a quality control foreman after 39 years of service with York International Inc., died at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday at Hanover General Hospital. He was the husband of Anna Mae (Kaltreider) Case.
The service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Sauter Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove. Burial will be in Jefferson Cemetery. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Case was born in Jefferson, the son of the late Harry S. and Cora A. (Stauffer) Case.
He was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, where he served on the finance committee, church choir, as an elder and former president of the consistory. He was a member of Sunday School Class 10.
Affiliated with Masonry, he was a member of Free and Accepted Masons Hanover Patmos Lodge 348, of Bethel Commandery 98, Knights Templar, of Hanover Royal Arch Chapter 310, of Penn Council 67, of Royal and Select Masters, of Harrisburg consistory and Tall Cedars of Lebanon York Forest 30.
A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he had served in the Philippines area. He was a member of Jefferson Fire Company and American Association of Retired Persons Jefferson Area Chapter 3699.
Mr. Case also is survived by nieces and nephews.
Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. Charles I. Hull.
