Robert T. Foster Jr.

Robert T. Foster, 69, died Monday November 1, 2010 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center.

He was born September 22, 1941 to Robert T. Foster, Sr. and Vivian Smith Foster. Robert was lifelong resident of Jackson and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Funeral services are scheduled of 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 3, 2010, from the Chapel of Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and interment will follow the service in Cedarlawn Cemetery in Jackson.

Robert served in the U. S. Navy for 4 years. He was a Hinds County Justice Court Judge for 14 years, which was the office his father held. Robert was elected to fill that office after his father's death. He later served as the bookkeeper for the Justice Court System for 15 years, retiring from Hinds County with over 29 years service.

Robert was preceded in death by his father Robert T. Foster, Sr..

He survived by his mother, Vivian S. Foster; sister, Gloria F. Moore (Tommy), nieces Vivian Lynn Hensley (Al) and Cathy A. Huff (Gene); and several great-nieces and nephews.
