Henry F. Abel, 76, 1518 Fourth St., died this morning at 1 o'clock in a local hospital following a lingering illlness. Funeral Services will b Wednesday afternoon at 2-30 o'clock in the First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Ray. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. The body, which is in the Ritter & Deutsch Funeral Home, will be taken to the church at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning.

Mr. Abel, the son of the Mr. and Mrs. John Abel, was born Dec. 14, 1879, in Milwaukee, a local resident for 44 years, he was married Feb. 16, 1811, to Miss Martha Stein, who died April 19, 1955. He was formerly employed by the Wisconsin Public Service Corp. and was a member of Marathon Encampment No. 79, Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Surviving are five brothers, Charles, Frank, John and August Abel, all of Wisconsin Rapids, and, Edward Abel, Junction City, and four sisters, Mrs. Anna H e i s e, Mrs. Clara Mall and Mrs. Edwin Kickhott, all ofr Wisconsin Rapids and Mrs. Elsie Garis, Chicago.
