Fawn Berends, 74, of Patterson died Tuesday at Doctors Medical Center, Modesto. Mrs. Berends was a native of Canyon, Texas. She lived in Patterson 22 years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Family Christian Center.

She is survived by her son, Roger Berends of Modesto; brother, Gus Wesley of Plainview, Texas; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Family Christian Center. Burial at Patterson District Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hillview Funeral Chapel. Remembrances may be made to Family Christian Center, P.O. Box 577, Patterson 95363.
