Rosella Striker

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosella Striker, 79, a native of Wells county, who died Friday morning in the Allen County Health Center, will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Yager funeral home, Berne. Rev. Richard N. Zulauf will officiate at the services and burial will be in Greenwood cemetery, Linn Grove. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday.

Born October, 7, 1895, she was a daughter of John and Anna Widmer-Romey, and moved from Bluffton to Fort Wayne in 1927.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Betty) Larson of Wheatridge, Colo.; two sons, Lt. Col. John Davenport of Silver Springs, Maryland, and Captain Claude Davenport, Kenner, La.; one brother, Clyde Romey of Fort Wayne; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
