Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late James Milton and Linnie Springfield Roberts and widow of E. Frank Galloway. Prior to her retirement, she worked with the School District of Greenville County in the Food Services Division.
Mrs. Galloway was a member of Dunean Baptist Church. She lived her life as a woman of great faith. She was a member of the the Myra Parks Sunday School Class, Golden L of Dunean Baptist, and the Golden Gems of Tremont Church of God. She enjoyed ministering to the children in the church nursery.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Tom Timmerman, of Pelzer; sister, Pauline Galloway, of Pendleton; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Louise Roberts, of Mooresville, N.C.; granddaughter and her husband, Ann and Jimmy Barnes, of Williamston; great-granddaughter, Claire Elizabeth Barnes; and a special niece, Gail Jameson.
The funeral service will be held Tues at 2pm at Dunean Baptist Church, with visitation prior from 12:30-1:45pm at the church. Interment to follow the service in Graceland West Cemetery.
