Nickolas John Friedman Barberton - Nicklos John Friedman, 85, died 19 March, at Barberton Citizens Hospital. He was born in North Worth, Washington, Iowa, and resided in Uniontown the past 41 years. Mr. Friedman was employed with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for 42 years, retiring in 1961. He was a member of the Goodyear 25 Year Club, Eagles Aerie No. 555, and St. Mathew Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; daughters, Ruth and Easter; he is survived by sons Nicholas James of Barberton, Thomas E., of Uniontown, Elsie Oliver, of Tallmadge, Mrs. Charles (Delores J.) Mickley, of North Canton; 27 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother Joseph J., at Akron; sisters, Sopha McCann, of Greentown, Mass of Christian
Burial, Monday 10 am, at St. Mathew Catholic Church, 2603 Benton Av. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hopkins Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
