Roswell came to the White Flat community in 1893 with his parents and lived there until the family moved to Vinson. He was a prominent Vinson farmer. He was the father of Mrs. Vernon Peters, a teacher in Wellington Elementary Schools, and the grandfather of Mrs. Dan Henard, Jr.

Marriage: June 1910, Magnum, OK

Died at Magnum City Hospital after a short illness.
