"Ila Queen Krieger, 81, a resident of Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, and formerly of 144 McDermott St., Chambersburg, died at 6:55 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 1996, in the nursing home.

Born Feb. 23, 1915, in New Grenada, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Ida Mae (Gracey) Alloway. Her husband, John J. Krieger died Feb. 15, 1987. Mrs. Krieger graduated from the former Hustontown High School.

She was a clerk in the catalog department of Sears and Roebuck Co., Chambersburg, for 15 years. Mrs. Krieger was a member of Bethel Church of God, New Grenada.

She is survived by two daughters, J. Ilene Rourke and Linda D. Kump, both of Chambersburg; two sons, Robert B. Krieger of Bensalem and Robert F. Krieger of Chambersburg; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Bethel Church of God, with the Rev. Stanley A. Cordell, officiating.

Burial will be in Church of God Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, and one hour prior to services Thursday in the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Arcadia Unit of the Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 1070 Stouffer Ave., Chambersburg, Pa."
