Jewell Chandler Brown, 94, of Center, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008 at a Nacogdoches nursing home. She was born February 16, 1913 in Center to C.C. Hooper and Myrtie Dell Hinkle Hooper. Ms. Brown was a member of White Rock Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday, January 21, 2008 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Pat Windham, Bro. Doug Stone and Bro. Jason Hebert officiating. Interment will follow at White Rock Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ms. Brown's grandsons and great grandsons; Ricky Chandler, Danny Bates, David Chandler, Tony Bates, Michael Chandler and Brent Risinger. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Stephens, Bo Barbee and Doyle Chandler.
