She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, the daughter of Col. George W. Taylor and Mrs. Bessie Higgins Taylor.
She resided at 1811 Hampton Blvd.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George Straubinger of Annapolis, Md. and Mrs. Terence Preece of Westbury, L.I., New York, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. Peyton Williams, rector of Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
