COOKEVILLE - Funeral services for Leon Farmer, 67, were held today at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with burial in tghe Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Farmer died Tuesday July 17, 1990 in Carthage General Hospital.
He was born September 23, 1922 in Overton County, the son of George Farmer of Cookeville and gthe late Mary Hicks Farmer.
He was a member of the Madison Church of Christ and an X-Ray Technician with the State of Tennessee.
In addition to his father, his family includes his wife, Louise Jones Farmer of Madison; one son, Bob Farmer of Hartsville; one sister, Mrs. Lloyd (Eula) Knight of Livingston; two brothers, Maxey Farmer of North Carolina and Bill Farmer of Cookeville; and three grandchildren.
