He was a veteran of WWI.
Deputy Sheriff Roy K Faught, 1947........Pvt. World War I, Owner of the 64-foot power cruiser "Liberty", a former Coast Guard Patrol craft that he bought in a deal from George Summer, retired Navy Chief Warrant Officer. It was moored at "Dusty" Rhoades' Wharf and used for fishing parties every weekend and a lot of times in between when Skipper Roy K. Faught isn't on duty at the Sheriff's office.
