John B. Bailey Dies in Hinton
Funeral for Former Raleigh County
Man Set Tomorrow
Funeral services for John B. Bailey, 85, native of Beckley and resident of Harper road until a few years ago, who died at his home near Hinton yesterday, will be conducted at the Mount Tabor Baptist church tomorrow at 2 p.m. by the Rev. H. P. Hackney of Hinton and the Rev. Earl L. Grose of Beckley. Burial will be in the Mount Tabor cemetery.
Bailey was a member of the Baptist church.
He is survived by three sons, L. D. Bailey, Charleston, L. E. Bailey, Hinton, J. C. Bailey, Beckley; two daughters, Mrs. J. W. Weeks, Athens, and Mrs. R. M. Woodrum, Beckley; 33 grandchildren; one brother, Paris Bailey, Prosperity.
The body will be taken to the home of Mrs. Woodrum on Carter street today at 3 p.m. and remain there until the funeral. Pallbearers will be grandsons and flower bearers will be his granddaughters.
