Mrs. Grace Priddy Jourde, the wife of the late A. Earl Jourde, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2006. She was born and reared at Nacona, Texas. Being a registered nurse, she served in the U. S. Army Nurses Corps during WWII as a Chief Nurse at Air Force Hospitals in Oklahoma and Texas. After moving to Corpus Christi in 1951, she was employed as a nurse by the Corpus Christi Independent School District from which she retired in 1976. She was a member of The Church of Good Shepherd. Survivors include two nephews and one niece: Keith Griffith of Austin, Texas; Craig Wilkinson of Lubbock Texas; Susan Weaver of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; and their spouses and children. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested memorial gifts be sent to the donors favorite charity or church memorial fund. A Memorial Service will be held at The Church of the Good Shepherd at 2pm, Saturday, January 7, 2006.
