William Pusey Jr., 74, Glen Hope, died Tuesday, July 20, 1999, at Altoona Hospital.
He was born June 13, 1925, in Irvona, the son of the late William and Mary E. (Johnston) Pusey. He married Ruth Saline Hill April 7, 1947, in Hagerstown, MD. Mr. Pusey attended the Glen Hope United Methodist Church. He retired from Swank Refractories, Irvona Plant, after 33 years of service. He also owned Pusey's Farm, Pusey Lumber Co., W. W. Trucking Co., and W. W. Parts. Mr. Pusey served in the Marine Corps. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Marla Beers of Austin, TX; four sons: William III of Columbia, SC, Wayne of Glen Hope, Warren of Ebensburg and Wyatt of Spring Valley; three sisters: Mavis Green of Bedford, Mae Swanson of Chicago and Marva Ryan of Utahville; a brother, Wilbert of Glen Hope; and several grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM today at Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc., Irvona.
PUSEY - Funeral services for William Pusey Jr., Glen Hope, will be held at 2 PM Friday at Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc., Irvona, with the Rev. Darlene Wiewiora officiating. Interment will be made at Bell Cemetery, Glen Hope. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM today at Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc., Irvona.
