Shinglehouse - William (Dutch) Bell, died at his home, Honeoye St., Shinglehouse, Wednesday morning. (Aug. 23, 1961) Born July 14, 1893, at Glen Hope, Pa., Mr. Bell was a son of Frank and Ella (Mullins) Bell. He had been a resident of Shinglehouse for the past 40 years. In 1917, he married the former Gertrude Pusey, who died Monday morning Aug. 21. Survived by three daughters, Mrs. James (Jean) Woodard of Shinglehouse, Mrs. Harvey (Jane) Washburn of Bradford and Miss Joan Bell of Shinglehouse, Glen Bell of Kings Run, Max Bell of Shinglehouse, Lloyd Bell at home, Lynn Bell of Fayettesville, Pa., Donald Bell of Shinglehouse; 22 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Grace Rose, Glen Hope, Pa., a brother, Russell Bell of Glen Hope. Funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Bell were held at the Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, at 11 a.m. today (Aug. 24, 1961). The Rev. George Snow, pastor of the Methodist Church of Shinglehouse, officiated. Burial was in Glen Hope, Pa. cemetery.
