Frank A. "Ray" Ricotta, was born Nov. 14, 1923, and passed away June 13, 2003. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Mary Ricotta; his brother, Francesco; sisters, Judith Stepich, Josephine VanCino and Adelaide Dixon. Survived by his wife, Tina; sons, David (Roni) Ricotta, Pueblo; Steven R. (Lucinda) Ricotta, Florence, Colo.; daughters, Francene Geiger, Maize, Kan.; Janie Fitzpatrick of Pueblo; and Gerry (Sam) Faraj of Goddard, Kan.; grandchildren, Amy, Carrie and Matt Ricotta, Michael and Brandon Geiger, Steven and Jessica Ricotta, Donald Cerise, Darrin Faraj, Jerrianne Garcia, Leila Wilson and Saraj Faraj; ten great-grandchildren; his sister, Edith Smith; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ray served for four years in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He retired from CF&I after 37 years. He loved golfing and bowled in several leagues over the years. He was a member of BPOE Elks No. 90 and Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie No. 145. Visitation, from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Wednesday, Holy Family Church. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.
