She was born Jan. 11, 1908, in St. Mathias Township to Alfred and Laura (Genest) Dechaine. She was a cook in area restaurants. She was working at Charlie's Restaurant at the time of her retirement. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Violet Brelje, St. Paul, and Doris Sundquist, Brainerd; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alice Dechaine, Brainerd.
Three brothers and a sister died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd with Father Richard Kunst officiating.
Arrangements are with Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home of Brainerd.
