Albert E. "Cliff" Clifton, 83, of Independence, MO, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 12, 2010, at Hosanna Chapel, 3200 Donnelly, Kansas City, MO 64129. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Cliff was born April 7, 1927, in Kirksville, MO, to Floyd Glen and Irene Dean (Underwood) Clifton. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was united in marriage to Barbara "Bobbie" Jean DeMent on March 4, 1958. They raised six children and celebrated 52 years together. He is survived by his wife Bobbie; children Ruby Carol, Daniel Eugene, Virgil Lee, Ruth Corine, David Glen and Timothy Dean; 25 grandchildren, 44 great- grandchildren; five great-great- grandchildren and one on the way.
