Keller W. Burgess, 97, of Rt. 4, Huntsville died Aug. 21 in City Hospital, Fayetteville. Born Sept. 2, 1882, in Madison County, he was a retired farmer and the widower of Ella Keck Burgess who died Oct. 7, 1967.
He is survived by 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services were at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home, Huntsville, with the Rev. Harold DuVall officiating. Burial was in Alabam Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Doyle Sims, Vester Bowman, M. B. Swearingen, Bill Holt, Donald Smith and Willis Hargis.
