NAMPA — Funeral services for Leo Humphreys, 55, 123 Third Road N. who died Sunday at Nampa Route 5 following a short illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel with Bishop Wayne T. Rich, of the Nampa First Ward, L.D.S. Church, officiating. Interment will follow.
Mr. Humphreys was born June 26, 1911 at Ashton, Idaho, and lived at Denver, Colo. prior to coming to Nampa about 15 years ago. He worked for several years for the Nampa-Meridian Irrigation District, before ill health forced his retirement. He was a member of the Nampa First Ward, L.D.S. Church.
He is survived by two sons, Richard Humphreys of Nampa, and Robert Humphreys, with the U.S. Army at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo.; two daughters, Ida Marie Humphreys and Beverly Humphreys, both of Nampa; six sisters, his twin sister Leona Bingham of Portland, Ore., Elizabeth Hayens of Twin Fails, Addie Radakovich of Twin Falls, Julie Dodge of Nampa, June Yeamans of Portland, Ore., and Barbara Steele in California; and two brothers, William Humphreys of Jerome and Charles Humphreys of Eugene, Ore.
