JAMES HOWARD BOLES SR., 69, of Auburndale died Thursday at home. A native of Coffee County, Ala., he moved to the Auburndale/Winter Haven area 35 years ago from Alabama. He was a machine operator in a resin plant and Baptist. He is survived by his wife, Valona; a son, James H. of Auburndale; two daughters, Teresa Tanner of Polk City and Vicki Hayes of Tampa; a brother, Gordon of Branford; a sister, Evie Giddens of Nashville, Ga.; and four grandchildren.
