AUBURNDALE - Hal Q. Boggs, Polk City, died Tuesday afternoon at Lakeland General Hospital. He was a native of South Carolina and moved to Polk City six years ago from Birmingham, Ala. He was a retired employee of the Southern Pacific railroad where he worked as a train dispatcher. He attended the Polk City Baptist Church, was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Workers, and a Mason. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Lee Boggs; one son, Hal Q. Boggs Jr., Tacoma, Wash.; two brothers, Rayoulae Boggs, Polk City, and Dick Boggs, Columbia, S.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Bonini and Mrs. Salome Parker, both of Columbia, S.C.; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
