At age 5, Carrie had a severe infection that left her blind and mute. She died at age 44 from a carcinoma.


Miss Carry Belle Helmlinger

WAPAKONETA, Dec. 27 - Funeral services for Miss Carry Belle Helmlinger, 44, will be held at the Siferd and Brookhart funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Jacob S. Schick officiating. Burial will be made in Greenlawn cemetery. Miss Helmlinger died at the home of her father, Adam Helmlinger, four miles south of St. Johns, Christmas night. Both parents, Adam G. and Armeda Rash Helmlinger survive, along with four sisters, Mrs. Harold Adams, Lima; Mrs. Walter Williams, Lima; Mrs. Raymond Elass, south of Wapakoneta, and Miss Zelma Helmlinger, at home. Two brothers, Roy, Pandora, and Robert, at home, also survive.
