A five year old son of Henry Brown of Grant township, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Brown, of Traer, met a tragic death while at play in a granary on the farm about noon last Friday. The father had come to the house for dinner. Mrs. Brown called the lad and on receiving no answer she went to the granary to get him before the family sat down to the table. She was horrified to find the little fellow dead. The child was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Brown. The grief stricken parents have three other children, a younger daughter and a son and daughter about ten and seven years old. The funeral services were held at Amity church at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Burial was in Amity cemetery.¬
