A.C. Corbitt, 69. a prominent citizen of Wirt County, having lived on Spring Creek, at Palestine and for the past year has made his home in Elizabeth, died at the home of his daughter Mrs. H. H. Thorne of Parkersburg on Sunday. Mr. Corbitt had been in poor health for sometime but his condition was not thought to be critical and his death came as a shock to his many friends and acquaintances. The remains were brought to Palestine Tuesday where interment was made in the Palestine Cemetery.
