LENA--Mrs. William F. (Emma E.) Buss of Lena died at her home Thursday noon after an apparent heart attack.
Born Dec. 27, 1889, in Berlin, Germany, she was the daughter of Christian and Augusta (Haman) Meier. She was married to William F. Buss June 5, 1912, in Lena.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Wilbur of Freeport; a daughter, Mrs. Max (Betty) Foster of Saginaw, Mich., five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Four sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Leamon Funeral Home here. The Rev. Franklin Samuelson, pastor of Lena Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Freeport.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
