Ruth I. Bucher, 97, was a daughter of Louis and Louise Grelle Noelker. She married Dr. Earl Claude Bucher on June 1, 1935 in Chicago. He died Dec. 12, 1972.

She was also preceded in death by four siblings, Mildred Horstman, Harriett Mascher, Louise Steinwedel and Willis Noelker.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann (William) Kreitzer, son, John (Kathleen) Bucher Sr., six grandchildren, Drew Kreitzer, John and David Kreitzer,Michael and Will Bucher, and Tom Bucher and four great-grandchildren.
