Jessie Whittington
Funeral for Jessie Dell Whittington, 60, of 614 Carridale St. SW, will be at 4 p.m. today at Shelton Funeral Home with Dr. Bob Carpenter officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Gardens of Memory.
Mrs. Whittington died Saturday at Parkway Medical Center Hospital. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and was active in the church choir.
She is survived by her husband, Morris J. Whittington; one son, Ted Whittington of Decatur; four brothers, David Pell and Winston Earl Pell, both of Crystal Springs, Miss., Jimmy Blanton of Louisville, Ky., and Sunny Smith of Brookhaven, Miss.; and two grandchildren.
