Clarence Dale Davidson, 84 of Stephenville, died Friday, March 1, 2013, in Stephenville.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 5th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Nancy Smith Cemetery in Somervell County. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Dale was born on January 31, 1929 in Hilda, Missouri, to the late Larwood and Chassie Elsie Sturgis Davidson. He married Joyce Anita Martin on April 16, 1949, in Fort Worth. She preceded him in death on November 15, 1999. Dale served in the U. S. Air Force. He lived over 20 years in Comanche working with Comanche County as a road hand. He moved to Stephenville in 2005. Dale also spent a number of years working for Bell Helicopter, and Emerson Electric. Survivors include his daughters, Rhonda and husband Don Jackson of Stephenville, Roxanne and husband Doug Snow of Granbury, Christy Wiley of Stephenville, and Daphne White of Stephenville; son, Randy and wife Cindy Davidson of Weatherford; brother, Dude Davidson of Forsyth, Missouri; 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Besides his parents and wife, Dale was also preceded in death by one sister.
