Shirley Dell Crow, 75, of Llano, passed away Oct. 28, 2010. She was born to Ernest and Della (Lakey) Brewer on Oct. 19, 1935 in Llano, Texas.
She was a lifelong resident of Llano and married Marion Crow on Feb. 24, 1956. Mrs. Crow was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was a very charitable person. She gave to many different charities and was a loyal friend. She was a very kind and caring person, always willing to help anyone. She baby sat many children in her home through the years and always looked forward to her trips to Walmart. Her one true love was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family and was very proud of all of them.
Mrs. Crow is survived by her son, Billy Crow and fiancé Laura Kay Meier, of Llano, daughter, Sharon Hawkins and husband Johnny, Jr., of San Angelo, grandchildren, Ashley Rhoades, Colby Hawkins, Avery Hawkins, Briley Barker, brother, Ed Brewer of, Llano, sister, Oleta Long, of Austin and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Crow, brothers, Raymond Brewer, Harry Brewer, Copper Brewer, Kenneth Brewer, and sister, Geneva Brewer.
A visitation was held 4 p.m. ~ 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30 at Putnam Funeral Home in Kingsland. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31 at the First Presbyterian Church in Llano with Rev. Rich Lounsbery officiating. Interment followed at the Llano City Cemetery. An online guest register may be signed at www.putnamfunerals.com.
