Their marriage is recorded in Montague County Marriage Records, Page 340, The birth dates of several of their children are also recorded there. His name is recorded sometimes as "Patty" or "Pat", but wife's is recorded as "Lou". Patrick and Lou are buried in Union Cemetery in Montague County, along with several of their children including the last three children,, Effie Beatrice, Patricia, and an "Infant". Patrick was listed in the 1880 Census of Montague County, TX, Reel 98, Page 464A, among the children of Patrick and Hanorah Donley as age 14, birthplace, Missouri. Census records spelled the name as "Donaly". Information from research is that Patrick bought out the other heirs to Patrick, Sr.'s property and continued living in the home with his mother, Hanora. In 1926 he owned three blocks and 4 1/2 acres of the subdivision of the John Short Survey near Nocona and Bonita. There were several inter-family transfers from 1883 until 1890 in the area known as the Post Oak Prairie.
