LUCILLE THIESSEN

Lucille Laun Theissen, 91, of Pittsburgh, Penn., died Friday Dec. 6, 1996.
She was born March 14, 1905 in Kiel, and was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. She was a life-long member of Kiel Presbyterian Church of Wisconsin. She was an avid grower of African violets and former officer of the African Violet Society of Pittsburgh. She was also a long time member of the college Club and of the Women's Auxiliary of the American Institute of Mining and Metalurgical Engineers.
Survivors include four daughters, Clara Rieter of Pittsburgh, Penn., Dr. Doris Penman of Los Angeles, Julia Celebiler of Istanbul, Turkey, and Lucile Rawson of Pittsburgh; a sister of the late Albert Laun and the late Carl Laun; nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Services were held in Pittsburgh at H. Samson, Inc. Interment was private
