Phyllis A. Ruck, 79, a former Kiel resident, died Monday evening, February 1, 1993 at the Calumet Homestead, New Holstein, where she resided the past 1 ½ years. She was born July 26, 1913 in Kiel, daughter of the late William and Anna Roeh Ruck. She attended Kiel Grade School and graduated from Washington High School, Milwaukee. She was employed at Johnson Controls, Milwaukee, for approximately 35 years, retiring in 1978. She moved to Kiel in 1985.
Survivors include four nieces, Barbara Northrup, of Sante Monica, Calif., Ruth Bentz, of Bothell, Wash., Ruth Carnaggio, of Columbia, S. C., Dorothy (Arno) Herwig, of Kiel; one nephew, William Ruck, of Leesburg, Fla., two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Sylvia Ruck, of Ft. Atkinson, Wis. And Mrs. Tosca Ruck, of Beloit, Wis., and one brother-in-law, Harold Bentz, of Seattle, Wash. She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
