ENANDA E REINERTSON

Enanda E. Reinertson, 92, of 1337 Kellner St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday afternoon Dec. 13, 2005 at the Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

The former Enanda E. Christenson was born May 23, 1913 in the town of Cato, daughter of the late Clarence and Alma Madson Christenson. Enanda graduated from the Valders High School, Bethany College of Mankato, Minn., Manitowoc County Normal Teachers College and the Oshkosh State University. She taught school in various parts of the state of Wisconsin. Enanda retired in 1974 from the Kiel Elementary School where she spent the final 27 years of her teaching career.

She was married to Chauncey Reinertson in the town of Cato on Aug. 3, 1940. The couple lived in Chicago and Rockford, Ill., for 10 years and spent their retirement years in Manitowoc. Chauncey preceded Enanda in death on July 2, 2001.

Enanda was a member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Bethany's Ladies Aid, Lutheran Ladies League, OWLS, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, a life member of the county, state and National Retired Education Assoc., and the Lakeshore Humane Society and the Manitowoc County Historical Society.

Survivors include nieces and nephews, cousins and many special friends.

Funeral services were held at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, with the Revs. Robert Kujawski and Stephan Melso officiating, with burial in the Kiel Cemetery.
