Lewistown - Mrs. Erna M. Gordon, 89, died at a Lewistown hospital Friday afternoon.
She was born Jan. 21, 1875, in Fairview, W. Va., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Ammons. She was married to B.F. Gordon in Seymour, Iowa, April 24, 1898.
They homesteaded in Judith Basin near Buffalo Creek four miles east of Straw. In 1930 they retired and moved into Lewistown. Mr. Gordon died in 1959.
She was an active member of the Christian Church and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are a son, E.L. Gordon of Havre; a daughter, Mrs. Zelma Sylvester of Orville, Wash., a brother, Lawrence Ammons of New York, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Gressley of Pittsburgh, Kansas, and Mrs. Ida Roth of Long Beach, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
