Final rites for Mrs. Mary Shonk, 60, of rural route Bringhurst,Indiana will be two o'clock this afternoon at the Bringhurst Methodist Church. The Reverend Walter Curtis and the Reverend Duncan McNabb will officiate and burial will be in the Camden cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before services. Ill since December 19, she died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. Born December 13, 1897 near Delphi, Indiana, she was the daughter of Eva Wise Wagoner and John W. Wagoner. Her marriage was on October 26, 1915, to Orval Shonk. She was a member of the Bringhurst Methodist Church, the WSCS and the Monroe Township Home Demonstration Club. Survivors are the husband, two sons and two daughters: Arthur, Rockfield; Richard, at home; Mrs. Ernest (Edith) Martin, rural route, Camden, Mrs. Robert (Marjorie) Clauer, Asheville, North Carolina; and seven grandchildren. Also surviving are five sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Ruth Gibson, Logansport; Mrs. Frank George, Camden; Mrs. Ted Shanks, Brazil; Mrs. Sam Hazelgrove, rural route, Lafayette; Mrs. Eva Lenon, Roundup, Montana; John Wagoner, Lafayette; Joseph, Camas, Washington; Charles, South Bend.
