HEMENWAY - Sarah Virginia Hemenway of 1852 West Main Street, Cottage Grove died March 7, 1957 at the age of 91 years. She was born in Hadleyville, Oregon on June 9, 1865. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McCulloch, pioneers of Lane County. She is survived by 1 son: Norman Hemenway of Bandon, Oregon; 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hemenway was a member of the Seven-day Adventist Church. Funeral services will be held in Simon-Lounsbury Mortuary Monday, March 11, 1957 at 2 p.m. with interment in the McCulloch Cemetery. Elder W.C. Loveless officiating.
