Thomas E. Tolliver Sr., 65, of Rushville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2008, at his residence with loved ones by his side.

He was born September 5, 1943, to the late Charles F. and Evelyn M. (Reedy) Tolliver. Thomas was a Marine Corps Veteran. He was a member of Eagles 2120.

He is survived by his son, Thomas E. (Loraine) Tolliver Jr.; daughter, Tollie (Jeff) Shumway; former wife of 20 years, Sharon Tolliver; grandchildren, Rebecca, David, Shanna, Krista, Jacob (Emily) and Jordan (Ryanna); great-grandson, Jace,; sister, Patricia (Jack) Bryer; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Janet.

Thomas was preceded in death by his sister, Greta Acton; his parents,; step-father, Paul W. Lee; and grandparents.

Services will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sheridan Funeral Home, with Pastor Ron Grubb officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.

Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Donations may be made to Sheridan Funeral Home to help family assist with expenses.

He graduated from Lancaster High School with The Class of 1964, Lancaster, Ohio and SCHOOL COLORS were PURPLE and GOLD.
