Milton was born in 1870. He passed away in 1927.

In 1890 he married Unicy Jean Brinn. His brother, Jimmie ( James Frederick Carawan ) married his sister in law, Mary Elizabeth Brinn in 1899.

Mitt grew up on a farm in Pamlico County, NC and was a Farmer himself in the same county throughout most of his life. Later in life he went to work at a Cotton Mill in Greenville, Pitt County, NC.
